I’m relaunching Time and Space, my absolute favourite novel to write this coming Tuesday, 16 September, 2025. I wrote it in 2011, published it in 2013, and due to personal circumstances was unable to devote the time and energy it deserved to market it.

And so I’m giving it my all (and some debt, so please buy!!! 🙏🏼) to market it. Reviews, editorial reviews, Amazon A+ Graphics, a snazzy new cover and interior paperback design.
Oh, about that paperback. The cover designer for the paperback design is taking weeks and months, to the point that I’ve given up on launching the paperback with the ebook. Sigh. My case manager even got me started on the IngramSpark process so I’d be ready to finish lickety split when I got the cover. But no way the paperback will be ready now for the 16th no matter how quickly I finish the IngramSpark process, assuming the cover arrived right now. Checking inbox…nope, still not there.
“A frenzied plunge into a regressive and wildly weird future, Time and Space defies genre expectations and the laws of physics with gleeful abandon.” Self-Publishing Review, ★★★★
I had a good giggle over the the gleeful abandon comment, for I spent a lot of time discussing time travel physics with my engineer friend Andy in the UK and on social media tachyondecay and relearning Einsteining physics. I took liberties with neutrinos and one aspect of time travel, but the rest of the physics I did my best to comply with current theories. Of course, the operative word is “theories”!
“Author Shireen Jeejeebhoy blends an entertaining mix of satire, action, and time travel adventure to deliver an absorbing thriller that you simply can’t put down. Time and Space is a sci-fi thriller unlike any other I have read. The engrossing narrative explores a range of contemporary social issues, including sexism, classism, and inequality. The plot is completely unpredictable.” Pikasho Deka, for Readers’ Favorite, ★★★★★
“Teasing the idea of a male-dominated and technologically advanced future, Jeejeebhoy weaves an intriguing plot featuring a fascinating, dynamic cast. The subtle tone accompanying the narrative kept me guessing what was coming next, keeping me turning page after page.” Keith Mbuya, for Readers’ Favorite, ★★★★★
“Time and Space captivates with its fully realized depiction of Toronto and even a future where technology and society are tightly interwoven. The book combines dramatic suspense, clever social critique, and fascinating science fiction ideas without alienating readers who are new to the genre.” Makeda Cummings, for Readers’ Favorite, ★★★★★
“I marveled at the way supporting figures actually expose the various sides of power, compassion, and rebellion. The world-building is brought to life by thought-provoking conflict and ways in which people wield control. Readers who appreciate intense novels with rich world-building and feminist themes will enjoy this timeless tale.” Richard Prause, for Readers’ Favorite, ★★★★★
