Today is the day! I’m ready to reveal the title and cover of the first book in my trilogy!!
But first, drum roll, please, with a final cymbal ring, as I reveal the trilogy’s title.
The Q’Zam’Ta Trilogy
As I pondered, tested, googled various trilogy titles using the word “resurrection” or some English synonym, I discovered all sorts of people had taken these words for their music, websites, books, etc. Argh!!!
In talking over with a journalist-postdoctoral friend, I began thinking about the languages used 2000 years ago and my own far off ancestors’ original language: Aramaic and Avesta.
q’yam’ta means resurrection in Aramaic
Zam means Earth in Avesta
I combined the two, kept the apostrophes, capitalized, and voila: Q’Zam’Ta!
The book titles were easier to come up with. I talked it over with a couple of people after writing and pondering various incarnations. Again, Google told me, taken taken taken. But I persevered and came up with three good ones for the three books in the trilogy! Although…I’m now rethinking books two and three titles. Book one’s title is sticking!
