Huh?

What's a book review got to do with my faith? Why do you think not liking this book means one does not believe, is not searching for God, that one cannot have belief separate from the book and through personal experience with God, reading the Bible, thinking on God, living your faith from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed. And moreso why do you think that a critique of a book has anything to do with faith?

It's so easy to witheringly put us down (such a Christian thing to do, don't you think?) for being left cold by a book than to do what Jesus requires -- that's to criticize my ideas but not me personally.

You all obviously missed the point entirely...so sorry for you.
If this book doesn't put you in touch with the profound reality of God and the Trinity ( in a most amazing way) then you are not searching for that reality or are you willing to believe. Who is to say how many ways God can manifest himself. To find a way to describe to our human mind a picture we can get our hands on and relate to is a gift. Who is to say that this is the explanation...who is to say it isn't. It is only asked of us that we believe, however we get our minds around it. This story allows us to give faith much deep thought, and provides a true comfort in believing..

Thanks! Another read it and thanked me for it. Now he doesn't have to read The Shack!! He figures he'd be annoyed by it, rather than enlightened. :)
