Today’s prompt for Writer’s Digest Poetic Asides poem-a-day challenge is Two for Tuesday, either a love poem or an anti-love poem or both. I couldn’t imagine how I’d write one, and then it was there.

Love is a scourge on
a human heart melted by
the touch of a chameleon.
